Gigi, Poppop & Aunty Jess come visit!

We sadly weren't able to drive to Las Vegas for my nephew, Andrew's, 7th birthday party because my doctor recommended against it (I was already dilated to a 2 at my 33 week appointment and had to be started on medication to stop my contractions). We were all really disappointed we couldn't make it (especially Owen), so to slightly make up for it, my parents and sister Jess drove down to Arizona to visit for a few days after the party.

Here's a picture I snuck of Owen in singing time in primary when he was chosen to dress up as the prophet. He was really shy & timid at first until he caught me watching from the window. As soon as he saw me, he got really excited and waved and started singing along.

Monday, May 21st, 2018
Aunty Jess got to come watch Owen at swim lessons on Monday and since his swim lessons are so close to the temple, we stopped and snapped a few pictures since Jess had never been. Owen was shivering from his wet swimsuit but that's okay!

The helmet Owen is wearing in the first picture is from cousin Andrew. It's a Lightning McQueen helmet (Owen's favorite) and Owen wore it every chance he could get while everyone was visiting.

My family was nice enough to bring down a new carseat for Madden when they came as well. It's skinny enough that we can fit three across in our Chevy Traverse, score!! Here's a picture of me taking in my new life...three car seats in a row. 

Aunty Jess captured Madden's incoming curls perfectly in this picture. Who knew I'd have a curly headed baby!

Here are the boys with Gigi before everyone left. Boy do they love their GiGi! They weren't even out of the driveway before Owen said, "But I miss them. I want them to come back now."

We're so grateful they came to visit, even if it was just for a few days. We love you all so much! 

Dental Graduation Banquet!

On May 10th, Brad and I went to his graduation banquet at The Renaissance Hotel in Glendale. The hotel was pretty and it was nice visiting with friends and celebrating being done with dental school!

In some ways it feels like we've been in school forever but in other ways, I cannot believe how quickly it went by. It's crazy to think that we will have had three babies during our time here in Arizona. It was definitely way too hot at times, but I know this is where we were supposed to be. We met so many great friends and had so many great experiences here. I really am going to miss it! I am also so proud of Brad for getting through these four years and not only getting through, but doing really well in school. He is the perfect example of keeping a level head and made balancing school and family life look really, really easy. 

Reputation concert!

Brad's sisters Courtney & Kendall and Kylie's friend Madalyn traveled to Arizona so we could all go to the Taylor Swift concert together!

Owen and Dean had a blast swimming together. Owen jumped in the pool about 50 times probably. Big improvement from past summers! Swim lessons must be paying off.
