Easter
For Easter this year, Owen and I flew to Las Vegas to spend the holiday with my family! We were sad Brad wasn't able to come, but he joined us later in the week :-)
Easter dinner was delicious and Owen loved his very first Easter basket! (thanks to my mom ;-)

It has been so nice having family live just a state away. I love that Owen is growing up surrounded by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

After the Easter weekend was over, my family traveled back to Utah and Owen and I stayed back at my sister's house. Now that Owen's a little older, he was able to interact a little more with Andrew and Ellie. Well, he sat and watched them a lot which is way more than he did just a few months ago! Andrew and Ellie definitely kept us entertained all week. Here are some of our adventures together..
The infamous caterpillar
I don't know why these pictures make me laugh so hard, but they do. This was the caterpillar that Andrew found in their backyard and boy was he excited. He talked about Mr. Caterpillar, his "best friend" for at least 3 days and it was adorable. It was a sad day when he checked back later in the day and the caterpillar was gone.

I don't know if you've ever watched little kid's soccer, but oh my gosh is it hilarious. Andrew did awesome at his first practice and looked so cute in his soccer cleats.

Scarlet's baptism weekend!
On Thursday, Brad was finally able to join us for the weekend. We did a bunch of fun things like go out to dinner, play tennis, swim, eat yummy food, and see Scarlet get baptized! I just need to get the pictures from Peggy ;-)
