Moses Lake 2015

Moses Lake. But really this post should be titled "Pictures of Owen and Dean"

To celebrate Brad taking (and passing!) Part 1 of his Dental boards, we took off for Moses Lake to start our summer vacation. It was a happy reunion between Owen and Dean, two cousins who are bound to be best buds being only a month apart.

Even though they stole each other's toys constantly, Dean didn't seem to mind.

You know when you do something great but no one is around to witness it? That's what happened here. One of Owen's favorite things to do was climb up on to this ledge in Brad's kitchen. I thought he looked cute, so I snapped a picture (refer to left photo). Before I knew it, he was attempting to crawl off the ledge (which is higher than it looks in these pictures, by the way) and was about to fall face first. I somehow managed to snap a picture with his body in mid-fall (refer to right photo) before throwing my phone down and catching him by the shoulder. He then proceeded to flip over my arm and land perfectly on his feet. AND NO ONE SAW IT. I deserve a medal or something.

U.S. Open practice round and swimming at Grandma's 6.16.15

To help us get ready for Kylie's reception that weekend, the guys went to the U.S. Open practice round (that was sarcasm). To take a break from wedding activities, me, Peggy, Courtney, Kylie and the boys went swimming at Grandma LuDeen's.

The guys also got to golf at the Coeur d'Alene. What is that you say? They golfed 2 days before the reception? Oh, don't worry. they went the next day too.

I like the picture on the left because it's the only one that I can actually see how Owen sort of looks like me. I also had to include the picture on the right because all three of them matched.

Stephen and Kylie's Reception! 6.20.15
It was another successful reception at David and Peggy's house! Here are some pictures of the boys dressed up in their wedding outfits.

I can't believe it's been a whole year since the last time we had dinner at Tim and Sarah Molitor's house! Luckily for us, it was time to pick raspberries again. Owen also had two friends to play with (three if you count the dog), so he was pretty happy.

I think we were all a bit sad that it was time to leave. Luckily for us, we'll be back for a couple of weeks at the end of summer!

4 1/2 hour delay at the airport. Owen was a champ about it. 6.25.15

The trip ended with an unfortunate delay at the airport but we got through it and were excited to head to St. George the next day for Kylie and Stephen's wedding!
