Second half of Summer!

For Independence Day weekend, Brad's family and I went to Portland to spend the 4th with Curtis's family and then left to vacation in Seaside, Oregon where Peggy's dance studio was competing!

July 4th
The 4th consisted of a great breakfast at Curtis's ward, some pedicures, lunch and shopping with the girls, and then back to the Papenfuss's for excellent food, multiple games of Pig and Bump on the basketball court, and walking through the woods to see some pretty awesome fireworks. Unfortunately, we didn't take any pictures (so unlike me), but just know that it was awesome.

PORTLAND OREGON TEMPLE
Before we left for Seaside, the family went through the temple with Bryan one last time before his mission in Mexico!

Tillamook Cheese Factory! 

We also got to check out the Tillamook Cheese Factory as a family. I'm just glad I was lucky enough to drive in the other car...you know, where Rhode wasn't throwing up. 

SEASIDE

Here are some pictures in Seaside. The town was beautiful and I loved that I was able to wear light sweaters all week! I miss having cooler weather sometimes.

A lot of our free time was spent playing tennis. It was perfect because it was always overcast, so we never had to worry about having the sun in our eyes. Here are some pictures of our last tennis adventures before we left.

BACK IN MOSES LAKE!

Our last few weeks in Moses Lake were mainly spent swimming at grandma Ludeen's pool and spending as much time with family as possible. Here are a few high lights!

Laser Light Show

Brad and I got to experience the laser light show for the first time at The Grand Coulee Dam with MacKenzie & Andrew Nielsen, Allie & Jordan Baker and Andrew's brother and his wife. The Dam is seriously massive!
