My early Christmas gift this year was my best friend Katie Swick coming to visit me for a week from Pittsburgh!! It was so great to catch up, eat no bake cookies, frequent In N Out, and play with the baby. I'm so happy she got to come and I miss her so much!

Christmas Vacation!

The month of December flew by and before we knew it, it was time to head to Utah for Christmas! We decided to drive and Owen did great in the car! He basically slept the entire way. We stopped in Vegas along the way at my sister Amanda's house and got to visit with her and her family for a night!

The night we arrived in Salt Lake, Brad and I went to Energy Solution's Arena to see The Piano Guys. It was a great concert full of a lot of amazing talent!

The next night, we went with my family to Draper to see "The Tree of Life." This tree has been pretty popular this year and we were happy to see it in person.

Having a baby during the holiday's makes it so much more fun! Owen got a bunch of new church clothes for Christmas. But, let's be serious, these gifts were basically for me ;-)

Provo, our old stomping ground!

Brad and I also got to go to Provo for the whole day while my family watched Owen for us. That was by far the longest we've been away from our little guy and I'd be lying if I said I didn't keep checking my phone to make sure everything was okay! While we were in Provo, Brad and I went to the BYU basketball game with his friend Brendan and then to Ruby River for dinner and of course, The Chocolate for dessert. Because, honestly, you can't not go to The Chocolate if you're in Provo...

Leaving Utah, Brad and I had to make a few stops before we left, our first apartment together and Magelby's for lunch! Magelby's has the best chocolate cake. We think so highly of it, we got our wedding cake from there ;-)
