Honeymoon in Victoria, BC

Honeymoon! August 24-31, 2012

The morning after the wedding, Brad and I left for Victoria, British Columbia! Our trip started off a little shaky when we lost our car keys on the ferry ride over. After searching for 30 plus minutes and uttering more than one prayer, we finally found them wedged between the seat and the console (where we had looked 20 times). We're definitely glad we didn't have to deal with blocking all of the cars from getting off the ferry!

Luckily, that little episode wasn't an indicator of how the rest of our trip went. Victoria was absolutely beautiful! Other than finally being married, the high lights were whale watching, seeing The Butchart Gardens, and enjoying the beautiful town. We stayed in a suite in The Marriott which was in walking distance to the harbour. Here are some pictures of our trip.

Parliament building and standing in front of the best restaurant in town!

Whale watching on the Pacific Ocean!

The Butchart Gardens

The gardens were my personal favorite part of the trip. Everything was so lush and beautiful and it felt like we were in the Garden of Eden! One of the high lights of our trip to the gardens was a boat ride we took where we got to explore some more.

Victoria at night and our carriage ride through town!

Victoria is so pretty and I cannot wait for us to go back again!
